Connecting Antenna cable to Comcast in-put cable

Postby lazylarry on Fri Apr 30, 2010 2:54 pm

Have Comcast cable with TV, NET & phone ($180/month). I want to drop cable TV and get Antenna to get local stations. Can I connect Antenna conection to Comcast cable input connection outside of house, so Antenna would reach all TV outlets, keeping Comcast Phone & web. Or do I have to connect Antenna directly to each TV?

It's a complicated and expensive process to filter out the TV portion of your cable service. A better suggestion would be to subscribe to their lifeline service for $10.00 a month, which will give your local TV stations in SD and HD. You will need a QAM capable tuner on each TV set in order to see the HD channels, but you should be able to see the local stations in SD for a while longer on your analog TV sets.
