Confused about information on this site

Postby manyak22 on Thu Jul 31, 2008 3:53 pm

Hi, I've read a lot of info on this site, specifically the pages that claim that there is no such thing as an HD antenna. I have an RCA ant525, a Samsung HDTV with a tuner (model HP-t4234) and live in 85206 (I can give the exact add if it will help), but yet only recieve 3 channels, each very low quality except fox, which is decent but no way is HD. I don't know what I am doing wrong, I have the the antenna directly connected to the TV. Do I need any other devices?
If this is the wrong antenna to use, which should I buy to start watching HD locals.

Thanks in advance,
Dave in Az

Never mind guys, all I had to do was do a channel scan on my TV and now I'm watching HD!

I do have another question though. Do you think I should buy a "better" antenna" The HD quality, while good, is not as good as the HD cable I used to pay for.

thanks again
