HD Cable Box Installation

I am transferring my Comcast cable service to another part of the country and there they are offering free hd boxes. I have a hdtv. However, one Comcast representative told me that I would have to pay more for hd installation, than for a standard digital install. Will someone please walk me through the steps of setting up the hd box myself?
