Best Antenna for Bellevue WA

Postby GoJugo on Tue Sep 13, 2011 1:09 am

Plan to disconnect cable and install an antenna.
Appreciate your guidance on best antenna and accessories.

Home locationBellevue , WA 98006
Our tri level house is located on west side of hill facing west and southwest.
Back yard is facing directly west. TVs are located on south side of home. (one upstairs and other on ground floor) Could attach outdoor antenna to chimney or place in attic.
Concerned about Seattle rainy / cloudy weather.

HDTV tuner
Not sure if we have an HDTV tuner. Downstairs TV is a Full HD 080p LED and upstairs is a Visio HDMI DTV. Currently have HDTV via cable company.

GroundingPhilips User Manual states Outdoor Antenna Grounding is required so as not to provide some protection against voltage surges and built up static charges. Items to use are discharge unit, conductors, ground clamps, and grounding electorde system.

Thank you,
Go
