Like a lot of people, I'm thinking of dumping DirecTV for OTA. I'm looking at installing the Channel Master 4228 with a pre-amp in my attic. I'm trying to minimize the pain of running a cable from the attic to my basement, so given my current setup, I'm looking for some advice. Currently the cable originates in my basement and hooks into a Zinwell WB68 and RG6 runs from there throughout my house. The cable does come through my attic for the upstairs bedrooms so I can access that cable to use for the antenna. I would pull the cable from one of the bedrooms and plug into the antenna and obviously use the other end of that as the input for the house. I can run a new cable for the bedroom from the attic but I imagine it would require a splitter because it looks like there's only one output from the antenna. Would this just cause more problems than it's worth?
