attenna search

Postby baird95 on Fri Jul 24, 2009 11:33 am

I have finally had it with cable . I am trying to find out what I would need for an attenna for my location ?if I need a rotor and any other supplies to mount on my house. I have looked at a number of antennas and am thinking about the winegard HD7697P all of my channels seem to be uhf . My coordinates are 42 34' 22.70" N by 71 16'20.86" W my zip is 01862 . I live in the suburbs and have a electrical substation right up the road. wooded area . Would this antenna work?

If you are only interested in the Boston stations, then you don't need a VHF-UHF antenna: a UHF only antenna like a Winegard HD-9032 or a n AntennasDirect XG-42 will work perfectly for you at a fraction of the size and cost of the Winegard HD-7697P. If you have some desire to get Providence or Manchester, NH, you might want an HD-7696P and a rotator, as you would have to turn the antenna to see those cities.
