antenna selection

hi i live in second floor.
my zip code is 61801 and i bought RCA indoor digital flat amplified antenna.

I tried but i had to move aroud the room to get better signal and it is annoying

what should i do get more and better signal?

Although TV signals are strong where you are, they come from several different directions, so it's unlikely that one antenna position is going to work for all channels: even if you used an outdoor antenna, you'd have to use a rotator to find all of your stations. I'm sorry, but there are no simple answers for you...unless you want to subscribe to cable.

This usually works pretty well, although maybe not perfect, much much better than what you have now.

I am personally NOT a fan of omnidirectional antennas. My experience tells me that they cause as many prblems as they solve. If you have access to your roof, you can do much better, and if you are stuck with an indoor ir attic installation, you should look for the most directional antenna that you can find, and expect to have to move the antenna as you look for different stations...
