The Greenville-Spartanburg stations are all about 30 miles from you, pretty much due north, and should be easy to get. You didn't mention how many TV sets you plan to run from the antenna, but, if we assume that you only plan to run one set, I don't believe that you'll need a preamplifier.

WSPA, your CBS station, and WNTV, your PBS station, are both VHF stations and come from the same location: the other stations are on UHF, and span an arcof about 30 degrees in an area north of you. I would use a small two-antenna system for this installation, mounted on your roof, to get the best reception at low cost. We need a UHF antenna that covers a fairly broad arc to be sure that you can see your FOX station, whose transmitter is a bit west of the other transmitters, and I would recommend a Winegard HD-4400 or a Channel Master 4221HD aimed at roughly due north (0 degrees). I would mount that at the top of your antenna mast, and then mount a Winegard YA-6713 VHF high-band yagi 4' below the UHF antenna, and aim that antenna at 25 degrees, as measured by your compass. Combine the two antennas using RG-6u coaxial cable by using a Pico-Macom UHV-VHF antenna joiner, which will allow you to bring one cable into the house to your TV set. Ground the antenna according to the the installation guide that I provide to you, linked below,.

if you find that you want to run multiple TV sets from this antenna system, add an amplifier-splitter like a Channel Master CM-341x, where x-the even number of TV sets you have installed. You will see all of your local TV stations perfectly if you follow these instructions.
