antenna choice

I used the Geo search and it recommended a fixed antenna with a rotator. Would a multi-directional antenna work just as well? I have a Sony hbr lcd tv, am in zip 92553 and don't have any obstructions around me.

You don't need a rotor or a multi-directional antenna. All your majors come from Mt Wilson.

Select a medium-range high-VHF/UHF antenna and point it at Wilson.

Try a Winegard HD-7696P or an Antennacraft HBU-33 mounted on your roof, aimed at 250 degrees as measured by your compass. use a distribution amplifier if you want to run more than 2 TV sets from the antenna. You'll see more TV reception that you can possibly watch!
