antenna and accessories for 28210

Maybe its info overload, but I think I need help knowing what all to order and from where. I started my search at antennaweb.org and I get that I need small multi directional antenna for the channels I wish to receive (uhf/vhf). All the towers of interest are w/n 25 miles and are either NW or NE of me. So, I wish to start with installation in the attic and move to roof top if needed, then if more than one direction is needed I'd consider adding two antennas as I would likely prefer this over a rotator (if in fact I only need two key directions). Looking to connect the antenna to one HD Homerun dual TV tuner (connected to DVR and TV). This site pointed me to the Winegard HD-7696P (from solid gold) since I want to include VHF, another the EZ HD TV Antenna, and yet another AntennaCraft 5MS921(solid gold). Not sure which would be better honestly, but hopefully I can make due with only one. So, which antenna would offer the best performance?
What all do I need, do I need a FM trap, Ground Loop Isolator, High Pass Filter and TV CB Ham Interference Filter? I get that I also need cable and not to exceed 50ft. Preferably I could buy one bundle for all, or all from one site. Plus, what do I need to ground this? Have I forgotten other as well :? ?
