HD antenna analog TV

I would like to drop cable, and switch to an antenna. All of my TVs are analog, except for a projection screen which is HD, but the tuner is an older non HD VCR.

Will I need converter boxes(on all tvs) to receive the signal?
What type of connection is needed from the antenna to the TV?

Is one antenna okay for all the tvs, or is a seperate antenna needed for each tv?


I'm not sure zip code(48334- Farmington HIlls Mi) or how many tvs(4) are relevant to my question, I guess I was looking for basic information about how the antennas work and how they connect to the tv(apparently coax).
Once I decide whether to go this route, or get dish or stay w/ cable, I may need specific advice, but as of now I am just trying to sort out how HD antennas work.

If you want to watch HDTV broadcasts, then yes, you will.

What type of connection is needed from the antenna to the TV?

If you have a new antenna then it must be a 75-ohm coax.

Is one antenna okay for all the tvs, or is a seperate antenna needed for each tv?

The same antenna/antennas can be used to feed all TVs. You'll need a distribution amplifier (splitter) to split a signal.
