antenna & amp selection

I live in Phila about 10 miles fron the antenna farm (yellow zone).
All stations are in about a 10 degree zone.
I would to place the antenna in the attic.
It is about 40 ft of coax to the splitter in the basement a 7db splitter.
What kind of amp and where should it be placed or will an amplified antenna be ok ?
