Antenna Advice for Chicago suburb 60558

Postby swentsel on Fri Mar 25, 2011 11:08 am

Hi,

I am planning to get a new outdoor antenna for the house I recently moved into. I have a very old antenna now and have it hooked up to 3 TVs. I have spotty reception depending on the weather and channel. I believe I need a high vhf/uhf directional antenna. I would like to continue to have it run 3 TVs. I would also like to split one line again to use as an FM antenna. I don't have any tall buildings nearby, just a few large trees. I will mount it on the roof about 25 feet above ground. I am in zip code 60558, about 15 miles from the transmitters in Chicago. Below is the link to TVFool results.

I was looking at Winegard antennas and wondering if you could recommend a model. Or, any other brand.

Thank you for your help.
