I'm looking to drop DISH Network installation. I think I'm far enough away from the Atlanta stations (30-35 miles) that I'll need a good directional antenna, but I've read that the local PBS station is out of line with the others; plus the TV Fool map shows stations all around me.

I have a ranch on a slab, in a heavily wooded neighborhood. No large buildings nearby, however. I have just one TV and a two-tuner DVR. Ideally, I'd use the existing cable from the dish, rather than running a new line.
I'd rather mount the antenna to the hidden south side of the roof, rather than fight the HOA again. (The dish is semi-visible, which results in a new round of nastygrams and FCC regulation interpretation fight every year or two...) I might even try an attic installation, just in case that works.
Any suggestions? It seems like this should be something I can figure out on my own, especially given the examples in this forum, but I'd prefer to get it right...
Thanks!
Dan
