Trying to get rid of cable....
Live in one story brick house in North Carolina 27944....There are large trees about 2 blocks from me to the North.
What Antenna should I get? Winegard HD7698P HDTV High Band VHF-UHF Antenna was suggested. Do I need an amplifier? Pre amp? Is the best place to mount it on the chimney?
How can I set it up so I can take it down if a hurricane is coming? Or should I worry about that?
How much trouble is it to set up a rotor? How do I get power to it? I can get most of my stations to the North(Virginia) but I would also like to get North Carolina stations (WITN) in the other direction? The Virgina stations do not have good weather updates for this area.
I have 3 TV's in the house... Only one will work with HD channels? But I should still be able to pick up some analog stations with the other TVs or will the non HD's not work when I stop cable?
I have tried to research this but it is all a bit overwelming...so thought I would ask here.
Thanks,
Kimberly
