Advice for outdoor HD antenna in 54911

Postby bustow on Wed Apr 29, 2009 7:44 pm

First off, thanks! I just checked the requirements and it says I would best be suited by a "yellow" antenna to receive the signals. I currently have Dish TV and would like to purchase a piggy-backed antenna for the dish for ease of installation. I will then cancel dish. I am currently running 2 tv's off this signal, one with an HD tuner. Suggestions? Comments? Thanks!

I can't recommend any piggy-back antennas for TV reception at a distance of more that 10 miles or so from the transmitter. If you want to do it properly, Pick up a Winegard HD-7694P VHF-high-band +UHF antenna and mount it on the roof: you will get perfect reception from all the Green Bay stations on up to 2 TV sets without an amplifier using that antenna.
