advice for 90068

Postby r90068 on Mon Apr 20, 2009 1:14 am

I need some help with getting digital antenna reception.
I've setup a ChannelMaster D2A converter box at my home in 90247 with a simple rabbit ear antenna and it works great. However the same converter box and antenna cannot pull in any stations at my parents house in 90068 zip code.

My parents house is right at the base of a fairly steep hill ~1000 ft high that is in direct line of sight to Mt Wilson antenna transmitters though. I'd be willing to install a rooftop antenna but it seems unlikely that it would help with a big, tall hillside in the way. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

if you can give me your coordinates in decimal, I can probably help you. Unfortunately, your zip code alone won't allow me to zero in on your specific issue, but with your actual coordinates, I can narrow down your problem.
