Do not assume your set has a digital tuner. Verify its status instead by checking its specifications or by calling the manufacturer.

You are in an area where you can easily see CBS and NBC, but most likely won't see ABC, FOX, CW or ION. Dallas-Ft. Worth is 90 miles south of you, and just beyond your reach with a conventional antenna. What you try to do is a a function of what you are willing to invest and what your expectations are. With 30' feet of antenna altitude, you can see ABC and NBC from OK. If you use a rotator, there are a lot of low-powered translators in your area that are available, but my research tells me that they are mostly Spanish and religious programming. For this scenario, I would recommend using a Winegard HD-7696P mounted about 25 above the ground and used with a rotator like a Channel Master 9521a or an AntennaCraft TDP-2.

If we raise the ante a bit, so to speak, and go with an 80' tower, then you can expect to see the DFW stations. For that scenario, I would use a Winegard HD-7698P, a Channel Master 9521a rotator, and a preamplifier like a Winegard AP-8275 or Channel Master Titan 7777.
