I recently bought a Channel Master 3010. Do I still have to buy a converter box for Feb 2009?

The question whether to buy an hd converter or not, is unrelated to the type of antenna used.
Do you have a high definition TV or an old analog TV set? Old TV sets will need a hd converter to receive over-the-air broadcasts starting form Feb 2009. HDTVs will require an ATSC (HDTV) tuner. Many HDTVs have a built-in tuner, if you have one of them you are all set. If not, you'll have to buy an external ATSC tuner.
