Lately we have been dealing with an increasing number of attempts to manipulate product rankings. Note: each person is allowed to post one and only one review for each product. Exceptions can be made only under special circumstances when the reviewer feels that his earlier review must be corrected.
We have a sophisticated manipulation detection system in place and we will not tolerate any attempt to game the system and mislead consumers and our visitors. We reserve the right to delete any review that we feel is misleading or inappropriate and do that at our sole discretion. Thanks for understanding.
Also, from now on we require all reviews to be at least 100 words long. Short reviews, such as "a piece of junk" or "works as advertised" are not very helpful. Consider specifying more details. Elaborate on your location, the equipment you are using, reception quality of specific channels in your area. Check the word counter at the bottom when writing.

| Summary: Not perfect, but close.. |
| The picture quality is excellent by far, not to mention the epg 12 hour guide. And with the S-cable is a plus. By far channel master has the best of all the boxes.
With that said there are only two things I don't like, one the design of the remote could have been more thought out. And second they could have went above s-cable to an hdmi cable. For those who have flat screens.
Overall a great buy and you really do get what you pay for, the price is worth it. |

| Summary: Freakin\ Amazing |
| I had to replace the cheap Access converter I had that crapped out. This time I did my research and quality was the deciding factor for me. Shortly after I plugged this in and attached my amplified antenna (Winegard SS 3000 Indoor UHF/VHF Antenna)I went from having 12 fuzzy stations to 49 stations with darn near HD quality. My old television has new life. With my new converter box and hulu I\ll never pay for cable again, this is my best purchase of 2010 by far. This box is freakin\ amazing so if you live in a large city with lots of buildings that make it impossible to get a clear path to your nearest transmitter this is a must buy. |

| Summary: Only one that works where I live. |
| This is the ideal converter box for areas with signal problems.I live 20 miles from the towers in an area with lots of tall trees.I am using a 2 bay UHF antenna indoors. The picture using S-video is superb, far superior to other ones I tried.Save yourself a lot of headaches by spending a few extra $$ for this quality product.I tried several converters from different manufactures but the CM-7000 was the only one that locked on all the channels without the picture cutting in and out.The remote is very sturdy and well made and it uses Pioneer brand coding for easy programing to universal remotes. |

| Summary: best I know of |
| I've had this model for three months now and its better then any other tuner I have. It picks up more stations and has the features I would hope for: signal strength meter, add channel scan for new antenna position and the show guide are the ones I use the most. Well worth the $30 I spent for it and if I buy another will be the one I get. |
