Lately we have been dealing with an increasing number of attempts to manipulate product rankings. Note: each person is allowed to post one and only one review for each product. Exceptions can be made only under special circumstances when the reviewer feels that his earlier review must be corrected.

| Easy to hook up, but the quality of the audio is terrible. There is a constant hum and static on all channels. Have tried this box on 3 different TVs with the same lousy results. Am currently trying to get my money back on this one. Advice: buy the RCA model. | ||

| I have a Channel Master 700-works beautifully. The AccessHD 1030D is AWFUL even if you get it free for the cost of the coupon. I used it on the same TVs, cables and antenna with no luck. Bad news is that once you use your coupon (dummy me-I didn\t check reviews online), the store is not able to refund or give your coupon back! Do not waste your time or money buying this box even if it is free with the DTV coupon. DO NOT BUY THIS BOX. I have called the FCC, the manufacturer and I am filng a complaint with the FTC. This a RIP OFF!!!! | ||

| It\s easy to set up, but the overall quality isn\t what I expected. I bought the DTA1080D model, if that makes any difference at all, but I wonder: does the size of the converter box effect the quality of the television? On every basic channel I receive there\s an irritating static buzz. And on certain channels, no matter how much I move the antennae around the video doesn\t flow at all. I don\t know if it\s the box or the cheap antennae, but either way this conversion is much more of a hassel than I originally percieved. Save your money and buy a different brand. | ||
