ViewSonic PJ513D DLP Projector
November 20, 2008 – 11:35 am,I found the ViewSonic PJ513D DLP Projector is a good quality machine for an affordable price. I found it easy to carry around and simple to connect to my laptop, DVD, or whatever I was using at the time. Overall, the system was very user friendly.
I found the manual focus and manual zoom in conjunction with the BrilliantColor technology made this projector great for small rooms as well as larger ones. The images are nice and crisp while the colors are phenomenal for a projected image. It has several different hookups that allowed both the 720p and the 1080i to look great.
Considering the ViewSonic PJ513D DLP Projector weighs just a little over five pounds and is pretty compact, I was surprised at the brightness of the system. Some projectors seem to start out dim and brighten up as they are in use. I didn’t notice it with this one. I found it stayed nice and bright through the entire 4 hour presentation I gave recently. If you don’t like the picture, there are five different modes available to match your content. I thought the ability to add the company logo into the start up sequence was a nice touch especially for meetings where you are setting up with clients sitting there.
Unlike the older machines, the ViewSonic PJ513D DLP Projector runs nice and quiet so there is no need to yell in order to be heard over the whining and whirring. The machine runs surprisingly cool to boot. The remote control lets me remain at the other side of the room. I also don’t have to be leaning over the table between clients in order to play with the projector. Good machine for a good price. I’m happy with it.
