The Optoma HD65 is just as good as the bigger brand projectors on the market in my opinion. With the extra options and fantastic picture there is no need to be wasting the extra money. The pictures are bright, clear and this machine is great during the day or for a night of relaxing while watching your favorite movies.

I find the 1600 lumens of this home theatre projector is more than enough to hook to my home theatre system. It has 1280×720 1080i with a 4 000:1 contrast ratio. This gives the projector some of the highest quality images I’ve seen in a projector. The details and lines are nice and sharp. The colors are nice a bright with a nice warmth. It’s 16:9 ratio is a nice feature too. I think the ImageAI has a lot to do with the added quality.

I find that it doesn’t matter whether I hook it up to my DVD, my gaming system, or my computer it works well and handles the fast motions really well. I find what really makes the difference is the quality of the product you are hooking it up to. It is nice and compact so that it doesn’t take up even more space in my living room. It is light and easy to carry to, so taking it over to a friend’s place or out to a gathering is a snap. There are bigger systems out there, but for the price difference, I’ll stick with this one.
