Unisar Sounds TV Listener
November 9, 2008 – 11:51 am,If you are someone who is constantly having to turn down the volume on the TV or find that there is simply too much going on to hear the TV even on its highest setting, this is a great idea. I like it and the fact that I don’t have to adjust the volume is a huge bonus.
This set runs on infrared just like a remote, so I don’t run into interference from the other wireless devices that litter my house. I love the fact that I can hook it to any other noisy device in the house too and it still works including my laptop and my stereo. The batteries last for a long time before I have to switch them out. I can sit a good distance away from the device too before the audio cuts out. The set itself is light, comfortable to wear, and easy to set up.
Now for the downside of the Unisar headset. I find that the product does produce a bit of static. Not a lot, but it is still noticeable. I don’t find it to be a serious issue, but some people might. I do find it gets better as you narrow the distance between the transmitter and the headset. Because this product doesn’t recharge on a base, the batteries can be a bit of a pain. I found that simply using a couple of sets of rechargeable batteries fixed the problem. I wish it had a nice base to store the headset into, but since it doesn’t I just keep them in the drawer of my TV stand. I don’t find it to be a bad system at all especially when you consider the price.
