Sony Bravia L-Series KDL-32L4000 32-Inch 720p LCD HDTV
September 28, 2008 – 12:10 pm,When it comes to comparing smaller LCDs, this is definitely one of the best TVs available. I found overall, it has great picture quality and decent sound. It is also easy to set up and use, which is a great benefit for most. As an added bonus, it works well with a computer and it’s semi-gloss frame fits into the room while not being distracting.
One of the biggest things I like about this is the fact that Sony’s sound quality is good and it is aptly reflected in this model of the Bravia L-Series. If you are looking for a better sound quality, it is easy to hook up a theatre system or stereo. When you compare it to other brands at the same size, the quality is definitely noticeable.
When I compared the 720p with the 1080p, I honestly couldn’t see any noticeable difference. It really isn’t worth the extra money for the extra resolution. One thing you will notice is the delay when turning the TV on. It is also noticeable when you change the channel. I really don’t find it to be that much of an issue.
Another great benefit to this member of the Bravia L-Series is its built in ATSC/NTSC tuner. It has a QAM feature that is really excellent. The channels are easy to set up. The only downside with it is that it doesn’t automatically remove the analog stations, so this has to be done manually. I really don’t find that it’s not that big of a deal, but some people don’t like it. It really is a great 32″ HDTV that works well with computers, gaming systems, and is easy to use.
