The Bestselling HDTV
August 7, 2008 – 9:59 am,Amazon is the top retailing site on the entire internet, so what must it take to be the bestselling HDTV on this high profile website?
The answer is a hell of a lot of quality, $2,999’s worth to be precise. It’s the ‘Samsung LN52A650 52-Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV with Red Touch of Color’ that takes the top spot, and as the ridiculously name suggests, this model is a force to be reckoned with.
In fact, I’ve come to the conclusion that the quality of an HDTV can largely be judged by how long it’s name is, but that’s another story. I need to tell you what makes this so good.
Well, it’s all the normal stuff, 1080p HD resolution and stunning design, but setting it above the rest it has 120Hz Auto Motion Plus, 4 HDMI Inputs, what Samsung call their ‘Super Clear Panel’ (so you get a really good screen), and it also has a USB port in the back. I hear you ask why?
The TV’s USB port is so that you can download updates from the internet, and install them directly onto the TV from a USB drive, so it’s always giving you the best output possible.
And although the list price is $2,999, if you’re interested in this TV, you can get it from Amazon for just $2,309, making a saving of $690.
