Westinghouse Introduces Several New Televisions
June 13, 2008 – 9:09 am,Westinghouse Digital has introduced three new 1080p LCD televisions as well as a number of other multi-purpose LCD televisions. Among the new 1080p HDTVs, the company will now offer a 42 inch model (MSRP: $1199), a 47 inch model (MSRP: $1599), and a 52 inch model (MSRP: $1999). The company will also be offering new all-in-one units as well as new portable LCD televisions.
The new line of LCD televisions are all part of a new TX series. Each of the televisions within the TX series include High Contrast Picture settings as well as Full Color Spectrum settings. With the help of these settings, the televisions are able to provide additional color dynamics.
The company is also adding to its VK series with a 40 inch HDTV/DVD combo unit. This model includes two HDMI inputs and an OTA tuner and has a MSRP of $1099. For those looking for a less expensive option, the W series may be a better option. Options include a 26 inch model (MSRP: $499) and 32 inch model (MSRP: $699). These both offer multiple HD inputs, an ATSC/NTSC/ClearQam tuner and 480i/p, 720 i/p, and 1080i HD resolution.
The company is also offering two portable models in the PT series. One offers a 16 inch screen (MSRP: $279) while the other offers a 19 inch screen (MSRP: $329). For those looking for a little more flexibility, the company also offers a folding portable model (MSRP: $329) that can be mounted to a wall, stored under a cabinet, or placed on a countertop.
