If you are looking for a new way to send content to the televisions in your home, you might be interested in the ZeeVee media streamer, called the ZvBox, that has hit the market. With this handy little device, you can send content on the screen of your PC to every television in your house with the help of the coaxial cable you already have in place.

Basically, you watch any media that you have on your PC on the televisions in your house. The most obvious use for this gadget is to watch streaming video from the Internet, but there are potentially other uses as well. You don’t need to pay any subscription fees in order to use the gadget and there are no worries about wireless dropouts. In addition, users can actually access all of their computer applications, such as their web browsers, from their television sets.

The technology is relatively simple. The ZvBox is able to create an RF channel that allows it to port your PC to any other HDTVs in your house. You don’t need any special equipment on your television because it works along with the televisions internal tuner.

The handy new device is supposed to be available next month and is selling for $499. Currently, you can pre-order one at Amazon if you like.
