LG Launches New Television
May 28, 2008 – 1:09 pm,LG Electronics has released a new television: the Scarlet HDTV. The Scarlet HDTV, which is being called the LG60, is the thinnest high definition television offered by LG Electronics and it includes a number of features that television enthusiasts may find attractive. Some of these include the option to include an in-built touch sensor. The set will also use its intelligent sensors in order to automatically adjust its brightness level according to the ambient condition.
In all, the television measures only about 45 millimeters in thickness and offers an interesting new design that sets it apart from other companies. This includes a red back color as well as a round aperture. The set is also more power efficient, consuming about 62% less power than other HDTVs
The new set comes with both Expert Mode and AV mode picture-tuning capabilities. In the AV Mode, the television also supports Sports Mode, Cinema Mode, and Game Mode. The Expert Mode has also received certification from the Imaging Science Foundation or its advanced fine-tuning abilities.
The new television line is available in 32 inch, 37 inch, 42 inch, 47 inch, and 52 inch screen sizes. It also features as 15,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 24 fps, and 4 HDMI ports.
