Octava Launches 3×4 HDMI VI.3

Octava Inc has announced that it will be releasing a 3×4 HDMI VI.3 switch and splitter Distribution Amplifier. With this new HDMI device, you can deliver Full 1080P HD video and audio streams to up to four HD displays at the same time. This amp is designed to help improve the quality of the home theater experience and is also going to be put to use in public HD display kiosks that will be showing four or more HD displays. This way, they can provide the highest picture quality possible.

The 3×4 HDMI distribution amp is able to distribute HDMI to more than 4 HD displays because it is able to cascade multiple units and it is fully scaleable. With integrated 3×1 HDMI, you can have up to 3 separate HD sources. The company also provides the Digital Toslink Audio output. This device is able to “couple” audio data from the stream of HDMI data. With the 3×4 Distribution Amplifier, the HDMI data is processed and the audio is output through the Toslink Audio technology. This leaves the audio and video HDMI signals available to both of the HDMI outputs. The 3×4 HDMI Distribution Amplifier can be easily integrated into any Surround Sound Audio Equipment that you already have, even if it has not HDMI audio capabilities.
