Sharp Reveals its “Special Edition” LCD and So Much More
February 18, 2008 – 3:03 pm,If you are a fan of Sharp televisions, you will be happy to hear that the company has announced that it will be launching 14 new LCD television sets. The new sets were unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show and really caused quite a rumble.
In all, Sharp will be offering four new lines of LCD televisions as well as two new DLP projectors. In addition, they will be putting out a second generation Blu-ray player that is sure to be even more compatible with your television and to provide you with an even better image.
One of the new lines of LCD sets, the SE94 series, is being referred to as the “Special edition” line. This line offer full HD as well as high contrast for a crisper, more realistic image. It will also feature a 120Hz frame rate and HDMI 1.3. The 120Hz frame rate is being referred to as “Fine Motion Advanced” by Sharp, so be sure to look for that when checking out these new TVs.
The Special Edition LCDs are also going to feature a 176 degree viewing angle, which means you will have more options when it comes to finding a great spot for your television. In addition, it will have a response time of less than 4ms, which will offer better resolution and sharper imaging.
Another perk to the SE94 “Special edition” series is the fact that it will have built-in Ethernet. This means you will be able to access the Internet with your television, which will be made even easier by the built-in browser that is included with the televisions in this series.
