Winegard SS-1000 Description

Nicknamed the “SquareShooter” because of its square appearance, the Winegard SS-1000 antenna is a versatile indoor/outdoor antenna designed to receive analog and DTV/HDTV broadcast transmission in the UHF and VHF range. Free yourself from having to pay for cable or satellite HDTV feeds of local channels by enjoying free, over-the-air broadcasts of HD signals from local television stations.

Designed for metropolitan and urban areas where the direct line-of-sight to the transmission tower might be blocked, the SS-1000 is capable of receiving and demodulating analog transmissions within 45 miles and DTV/HDTV signals from up to 50 miles. Tall buildings and other obstructions are no problem for this versatile antenna which can easily pick up even the most obstructed signals and produce clear, crisp picture quality and outstanding HD reception.

With the Winegard SS-1000’s 15” square size, it can be mounted almost anywhere, both indoors and out. On the roof, sitting on the floor, a patio deck, attic or wall-mount is just a few of the many places you can locate the antenna. In addition, when mounted above a satellite dish and diplex into the satellite system, the SS-1000 will incorporate both satellite and broadcast signals into one coax cable for simplified wiring and ease of use.
