The Winegard PR-9018 is an off-air HDTV / digital signal outdoor aerial antenna designed to deliver exceptional digital and HD broadcast quality to your television. Part of the Winegard ProStar 1000 family, the PR-9018 is a 20 element, UHF antenna designed for suburban households within 30 miles of the broadcast source.
The PR-9018 delivers outstanding UHF reception by way of precise director spacing with an efficient corner reflector system. Weaker UHF signals are captured and reflected with minimal loss to the driven element which results in an increased uniform gain on all UHF frequencies.
Combining 30 active elements and a boom length of 50 inches, the Winegard PR-9018 has a 30 mile range for broadcast signals. With a turning radius of 30.5” inches the 9018 delivers a great directional signal capability. The PR-9018 antenna features a built-in 300 ohm VHF coupling block for use with an optional VHF antenna, if desired. A matching 300 ohm / 75 ohm transformer is also included.
Installation is easy thanks to wrap around mast clamps for locking jaws. The PR-9018 unit is constructed of high tensile aluminum elements which withstand both wind and ice loading without degradation of signal strength.
