The Winegard PR-9012 is a primarily outdoor antenna for receiving over-the-air UHF HDTV/digital broadcast signals that is small enough to fit in a closet should outdoor mounting not be possible. Its amplified UHF reception helps deliver exceptional clarity to digital and HD broadcasts.
Designed for metropolitan markets where the range to the transmission source is less than 15 miles away, the PR-9012 incorporates 5 active elements and a turning radius of 15.5 for directional reception. The average gain of 5dB pulls in signals while the front-to-back ratio helps discard unwanted, weaker UHF signals. When combined with an optional amplifier signal reception is even stronger, especially in areas such as larger houses where cable run length may be longer than normal. The PR-9012 has an output impendence of 300ohm / 75ohm with matching transformer (included).
With a vertical height maximum width of 22 and boom length of 17, the Winegard PR-9012 comes constructed of high tensile aluminum and each of the elements are protected by a polyurethane finish to withstand a wide variety of environmental conditions. Wrap-around mast clamps with four locking jaws cannot crush antenna boom or mast.
